But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.

11:8ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .Ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.Netaven pirōmi ġar an èvol xen tis̀·himi alla tis̀·himi èvol xen pirōmi.For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
11:9ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲉⲛⲧ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .Ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲉⲛⲧ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.Ke ġar netavsent pirōmi an eθve tis̀·himi alla tis̀·himi eθve pirōmi.for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
11:10ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲭⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ .Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲙⲡ̀ϣⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲭⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ.Eθve fai semp̀ṡa ǹte tis̀·himi ka ouerṡōn èjen tesàfe eθve niangelos.For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.
