This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
5:7ϫⲉⲡϣⲟⲙⲧ ⲉⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϣⲟⲙⲧ ⲉⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉje p̀ṡomt eermeθreFor there are three who testify:
5:8ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲙⲛⲡⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲓϣⲟⲙⲧ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲉⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓϣⲟⲙⲧ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲉpip̀nevma nem f̀mou nem p̀·s̀nof ouoh paiṡomt ouai nethe Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.
5:9ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲁⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉⲁϥⲣ ⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ϩⲁⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲉⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲣ ⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϧⲁ ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓisje tenċi ǹt̀metmeθre ǹǹrōmi t̀metmeθre ǹf̀nouti naas je θai te t̀metmeθre ǹf̀nouti je afr meθre xa pefṡyriIf we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God's testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.

He who doesn't believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
5:11ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ϫⲉⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲛϩ ⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲉⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁ ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛ̀ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲛϧ ⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓouoh θai te t̀metmeθre je a f̀nouti ti nan ǹouōnh ǹṡa èneh ouoh paiōnx efṡop xen pefṡyriThe testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

He who doesn't have God's Son doesn't have the life.
