3:4ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲟϥ ⲛ̀ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲟϥ ⲛ̀ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ.Ouoh peje pihof ǹtis̀·himi je naretennamou an xen oumou.And the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not surely die.

3:7ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲛⲉⲛⲃⲁⲗ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲓⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉ̀ⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲃⲏϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲃⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲟⲩⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ: ⲁⲩⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲁⲕⲏⲥⲀⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲓ2 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉ̀ⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲃⲏϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲃⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉ: ⲁⲩⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲁⲕⲏⲥAvouōm ǹje nenval ǹp̀i2 ouoh avèmi je sevyṡ ouoh avθōrp ǹhangōvi ǹte ouvō ǹkente: avθamio nōou ǹhanakysAnd the eyes of both were opened, and they perceived that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons to go round them.

3:9ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲁⲕⲑⲱⲛ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲁⲕⲑⲱⲛ.Ouoh afmouti ǹje p̀ċois f̀nouti ǹadam pegaf naf je adam akθōn.And the Lord God called Adam and said to him, Adam, where art thou?
3:10ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲕⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲟⲑⲙⲉⲥ ⲉⲕⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁⲓⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϫⲉϯⲃⲏϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲭⲱⲡ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲡ̀ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲟⲑⲙⲉⲥ ⲉ̀ⲕⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁⲓⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϫⲉ ϯⲃⲏϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲭⲱⲡ.Ouoh pegaf naf je tek·s̀my p̀etaisoθmes èkmoṡi xen piparaḋisos aierhoti je tivyṡ ouoh aikōp.And he said to him, I heard thy voice as thou walkedst in the garden, and I feared because I was naked and I hid myself.
3:11ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ ϫⲉⲕ̀ⲃⲏϣ . ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲅⲉ ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϣ̀ϣⲏⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲓϩⲉⲛϩⲱⲛⲕ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ ϫⲉ ⲭ̀ⲃⲏϣ. Ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲅⲉ ⲁⲭⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϣ̀ϣⲏⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲓϩⲉⲛϩⲱⲛⲕ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ.Ouoh pegaf naf je nim pe ètaftamok je k̀vyṡ.
