And the Lord said to Osee, Go, take to thyself a wife of fornication, and children of fornication: for the land will surely go a-whoring in departing from the Lord.
1:3ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲅⲟⲙⲉⲣ ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲃⲉⲗⲏⲗⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲅⲟⲙⲉⲣ ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲃⲉⲗⲏⲗⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ.Ouoh afṡenaf afċi ǹġomer t̀ṡeri ǹvelylem ouoh aservoki asmisi naf ǹouṡyri.So he went and took Gomer, daughter of Debelaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son.

1:5ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ϯⲛⲁϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ϯⲫⲓϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ϧⲉⲛϯϧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲓⲉⲍⲣⲁⲉⲗ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ϯⲛⲁϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ϯⲫⲓϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯϧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲓⲉⲍⲣⲁⲉⲗ.Ouoh esèṡōpi xen pièhoou ète m̀mav tinaxomxem ǹtifiti ǹte pisrayl xen tixellot ǹte iezrael.And it shall be, in that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezrael.
1:6ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲑⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲏⲓ ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉ̀ⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϯϯⲛⲁϯ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲁⲩ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲑⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϯϯⲛⲁϯ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲁⲩ.Ouoh aservoki ouoh asmisi ǹouṡeri ouoh pegas je mouti èpesran je θyète m̀pounai nas je ouyi tinaouahtot an je èmenre p̀yi ǹpisrayl alla xen outitinati èxoun èh̀rav.And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. 1:8ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲧⲟⲩⲓⲟ ⲛ̀ⲑⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ .Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲧⲟⲩⲓⲟ ⲛ̀ⲑⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ.Ouoh astouio ǹθyète m̀poumenrits ouoh aservoki on ouoh asmisi ǹouṡyri.And she weaned Unpitied; and she conceived again, and bore a son.
