38:2	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲫⲉⲛϩ ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϯϫⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲫⲉⲛϩ ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϯϫⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ. 38:3	ϫⲉⲁⲣⲓⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲓ ⲁⲓⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲣⲁⲛⲁⲕ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲣⲓⲙⲓ . Je àripamevì p̀ċois ǹf̀ryti ètaìmoṡi ǹpekm̀θo xen oumeθmyi nem ouhyt ǹmyi aiìri ǹnyeθranak ǹpekm̀θo ouoh afrimi ǹje ezekias xen ouniṡti ǹrimi.	Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before thee in truth, with a true heart, and have done that which was pleasing in thy sight. And Ezekias wept bitterly.
38:4	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲡ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲁⲏⲥⲁⲏⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲁⲕ ⲁ̀ϫⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲡ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲁ ⲏ̀ⲥⲁⲏ̀ⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲁⲕ ⲁ̀ϫⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ.	Ouoh a p̀·saji ǹp̀ċois ṡōpi ha ỳsaỳas je maṡenak àgos ǹezekias.	And the word of the Lord came to Esaias, saying, Go, and say to Ezekias,
38:5	ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫϯ ⲛ̀ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲡⲉⲕⲓⲱⲧ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲕⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲕⲉⲣⲙⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩϩⲟ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉⲁ̅ⲓⲁ̅ⲉ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ . Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, and seen thy tears: behold, I will add to thy time fifteen years.
38:6	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲓⲁⲥⲥⲩⲣⲓⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϯ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲃⲁⲕⲓ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲥⲥⲩⲣⲓⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϯ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲓⲃⲁⲕⲓ.	Ouoh eiènahmek èvol xen nenjig ǹp̀ouro ǹte niassirios ouoh eièti èh̀ryi èjen taivaki.	And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians: and I will defend this city.
38:7	ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉⲫϯ ⲛⲁⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ .	Ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲁⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ.	Fai pe pimyini eθnaṡōpi nak èvol hiten p̀ċois je fti naìri ǹpaisaji.	And this shall be a sign to thee from the Lord, that God will do this thing;
38:8	ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁⲫⲱⲛϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲓⲁⲛⲁⲃⲁⲑⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁ ⲫ̀ⲣⲏ ⲥ̀ⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲡⲓⲁ̅ⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲧⲉⲣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲣⲏ ⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲁ̅ⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲧⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲡⲓⲣⲏ ⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲓ̅ ⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲧⲉⲣ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁ ϯϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ . 38:9	ϯⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϯⲓⲟⲩⲇⲉⲁ̀ ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲓⲁⲃⲓ .	Ϯⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲉⲍⲉⲕⲓⲁⲥ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϯⲓⲟⲩⲇⲉⲁ̀ ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲓⲁⲃⲓ. 38:10	ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡ̀ϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲁⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲥⲏⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲁⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ .	Ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲥⲏⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ. I said in the end of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I shall part with the remainder of my years.
38:11	ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫϯ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲁⲥⲩⲅⲅⲉⲛⲓⲁ̀ .	Ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲥⲩⲅⲅⲉⲛⲓⲁ̀. I said, I shall no more at all see the salvation of God in the land of the living: I shall no more at all see the salvation of Israel on the earth: I shall no more at all see man.

L0 witness
The text as its witness or edition has it, original spelling; its dialect is a description and is never standardized.

L0.5 transliteration
For Egyptian texts: the transliteration with the editors' marks turned into the symbols ° * < > _ ^ (ruled 2026-09-10). For papyri: the edition's Leiden marks as the same symbols, and the editors' readings beside the scribe's as ‹scribe→editors› (ruled PAP-3).

L1 Cairene
Standardized Greco-Bohairic spelling and grammar, generated by code from the layer above under the rulings of the project.

L2 Kemetic
The Kemetic alphabet, generated by code from L1.
