7:1πότερον οὐχὶ πειρατήριόυ ἐστιν ὁ βἰος ἀνθρώπου ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ὥσπερ μισθίου αὐθημερινοῦ ἡ ζωὴ αὐτοῦ;
7:2ἢ ὥσπερ θεράπων δεδοικὼς τὸν κύριον αὐτοῦ καὶ τετευχὼς σκιᾶς, ἢ ὤσπερ μισθωτὸς ἀναμένων τὸν μισθὸν αὐτοῦ;
7:17τί γάρ ἐστιν ἄνθρωπος ὅτι ἐμεγάλυνας αὐτόν; ἢ ὅτι προσέχεις τὸν νοῦν εἰς αὐτόν;
7:18ἢ ἐπισκοπὴν αὐτοῦ ποιήσῃ ἕως τὸ πρωί, καὶ εἰς ἀνάπαυσιν αὐτὸν κρινεῖς;
7:19ἔως τἰνος οὐκ ἐᾷς με οὐδὲ προίῃ με, ἕως ἂν καταπίω τὸν πτύελόν μου ἐν ὀδύνῃς
7:20εἰ ἐγὼ ἥμαρτον, τί δυνήσομαι πρᾶξαι, ὁ ἐπιστάμενος τὸν νοῦν τῶν ἀνθρώπων; διὰ τἰ ἔθου με κατεντευκτὴν σου, εἱμὶ δὲ ἐπὶ σοὶ φορτίον;
7:21καὶ διὰ τί οὐκ ἐποιαὴσαν τῆς ἀνομίας μου λήθην καὶ καθαρμσμὸν τῆς ἁμαρτίὼς μου; νυνὶ δὲ εἰς γῆν ἀπελεύσομαι, ὀρθρίζων δὲ οὐκ ἔτι εἰμί.

What the layers are

L0 witness
The text as its witness or edition has it, original spelling; its dialect is a description and is never standardized.
L0.5 transliteration
For Egyptian texts: the transliteration with the editors' marks turned into the symbols ° * < > _ ^ (ruled 2026-09-10). For papyri: the edition's Leiden marks as the same symbols, and the editors' readings beside the scribe's as ‹scribe→editors› (ruled PAP-3).
L1 Cairene
Standardized Greco-Bohairic spelling and grammar, generated by code from the layer above under the rulings of the project.
L2 Kemetic
The Kemetic alphabet, generated by code from L1.
English
Quoted translations where they exist, credited; otherwise model drafts, marked as drafts.
