8:5ⲛⲃⲁⲗϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲟⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲑⲏⲧ ϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧⲛ̀ⲃⲁⲗϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲣⲛⲟⲓⲛ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ϯ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧǹvalhyt ernoin ǹoumetsave ǹat·hyt ti ǹpetenhytO ye simple, understand subtlety, and ye that are untaught, imbibe knowledge.

8:9ⲥⲉⲙⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲟⲓ ⲥⲉⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓⲥⲑⲏⲥⲓⲥⲥⲉⲙ̀ⲡⲉ ⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲣⲛⲟⲓⲛ ⲥⲉⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉ̀ϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓⲥⲑⲏⲥⲓⲥsem̀pe m̀θo èvol tyrou ǹneternoin sesoutōn ḋe ǹnetouōṡ èċi ǹouaisθysisThey are all evident to those that understand, and right to those that find knowledge.

8:11ⲧⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲥⲟⲧⲡ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲉϩⲉⲛⲉⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲧⲁⲉⲓⲏⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛⲧ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲥⲟⲧⲡ ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲉⲛⲉ ⲛ̀ⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛt̀sofia ġar sotp èhotehanene ǹmyi nettaiyout ḋe tyrou ǹp̀ṡa m̀mos anFor wisdom is better than precious stones; and no valuable substance is of equal worth with it.
8:12ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲧⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓⲕⲱ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲥⲑⲏⲥⲓⲥ ⲙⲛⲡⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲧ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓⲭⲱ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲓⲥⲑⲏⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓanok t̀sofia aisōnt ǹp̀·soċni anok aikō nyi ǹtaisθysis nem f̀meviI wisdom have dwelt with counsel and knowledge, and I have called upon understanding.
