14:5ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϫⲓϭⲟⲗ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲓⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ⲧⲙϩⲉϩⲉⲛϭⲟⲗⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϫⲓϭⲟⲗ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ϣⲧⲉⲙϩⲉⲓϩⲁⲛϭⲟⲗnem oumeθre ǹpistos najiċol ṡareoumeθre ḋe ǹċingons ṡtemheihanċolA faithful witness does not lie; but an unjust witness kindles falsehoods.

14:8ⲧⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲛⲣⲙⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲩϩⲓⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲧⲥⲃⲱ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲡⲗⲁⲛⲏⲧ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲣⲙⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲉⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲡ̀ⲗⲁⲛⲏt̀sofia ǹǹrmnhyt naemi ènoumōit t̀metat·hyt ḋe ǹatsvō xen oup̀lanyThe wisdom of the prudent will understand their ways; but the folly of fools leads astray.
14:9ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛⲙⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲃⲃⲟ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲥⲟⲧⲡⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲉⲟⲥ ⲥⲟⲧⲡnyi ǹǹparanomos ǹp̀ṡa ǹoutouvo nyi ḋe ǹǹḋikeos sotpThe houses of transgressors will need purification; but the houses of the just are acceptable.
14:10ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲁⲓⲥⲑⲁⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲗⲩⲡⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲉⲩⲫⲣⲁⲛⲉ ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲧⲗⲩⲡⲏ ⲧⲱϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥⲡ̀ϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥⲁⲓⲥⲑⲁⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲗⲩⲡⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲉⲩⲫⲣⲁⲛⲉ ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲧ̀ⲗⲩⲡⲏ ⲧⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥp̀hyt ǹourōmi ǹrefaisθane oulipy pe ǹtefpsiṡy hotan ḋe afṡanevfrane meret̀lipy toh nemafIf a man's mind is intelligent, his soul is sorrowful; and when he rejoices, he has no fellowship with pride.
14:11ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲉⲥⲕⲏⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁ̀ⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̀ⲥ̀ⲕⲩⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩnyi ǹnàsebys natako ǹs̀kiny ḋe ǹǹḋikeos naaheratouThe houses of ungodly men shall be utterly destroyed; but the tabernacles of them that walk uprightly shall stand.
14:12ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϩⲓⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲉⲥⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲥϩⲁⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲏϩ ⲉⲡϣⲓⲕ ⲛⲁⲙⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲟⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲥⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲥϩⲁⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲫⲏϧ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲓⲕ ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯouonoumōit ère p̀rōmi mevi èros je essoutōn èretes·hay ḋe fyx èp̀ṡik ǹàmentiThere is a way which seems to be right with men, but the ends of it reach to the depths of hell.
14:13ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲧⲗⲩⲡⲏ ⲧⲱϩ ⲙⲛⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲑⲁⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲁϣⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲡϩⲏⲃⲉⲙⲉⲣⲉⲧ̀ⲗⲩⲡⲏ ⲧⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲧϩⲁⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϩⲏⲃⲓmeret̀lipy toh nem p̀ounof ṡaret·hay ḋe ǹf̀raṡi ì èp̀hyviGrief mingles not with mirth; and joy in the end comes to grief.
14:14ⲡⲛⲁϣⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲓⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲁϥ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉⲡ̀ⲛⲁϣⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲉⲩⲓp̀naṡt·hyt nasei ǹnefmōit m̀mavatf p̀rōmi ḋe eθouab èvol xen nefmeviA stout-hearted man shall be filled with his own ways; and a good man with his own thoughts.
14:15ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲃⲁⲗϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲁⲛϩⲉⲧϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲣϩⲧⲏϥϣⲁⲣⲉⲡ̀ⲃⲁⲗϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲁⲛϩⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡ̀ⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϩⲧⲏϥṡarep̀valhyt tanhetsaji niven ṡarep̀·save ḋe erhtyfThe simple believes every word: but the prudent man betakes himself to after-thought.
14:16ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲡⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲣϩⲟⲧⲉ ϣⲁϥⲣⲁⲕⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲱϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲡ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϣⲁϥⲣⲁⲕⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟerṡanp̀·sofos erhoti ṡafraktf èvol ǹp̀pet·hōou ṡarepat·hyt ḋe toh nemaf xen outagroA wise man fears, and departs from evil; but the fool trusts in himself, and joins himself with the transgressor.
14:17ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲉϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ϥⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙ̀ⲛⲧⲁⲧϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ϥⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲉ̀ⲙⲁϣⲱṡarepetċepy ègōnt ìri ǹoum̀ntatṡogne ṡareourōmi ḋe ǹsofos fai èrof èmaṡōA passionate man acts inconsiderately; but a sensible man bears up under many things.
14:18ⲛⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲡⲱϣ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓⲥⲑⲏⲥⲓⲥⲛ̀ⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲁⲫⲱϣ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛ̀ⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓⲥⲑⲏⲥⲓⲥǹat·hyt nafōṡ ègōou ǹt̀kakia ṡareǹsave ḋe amahte ǹouaisθysisFools shall have mischief for their portion; but the prudent shall take fast hold of understanding.
14:19ⲛⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϩⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲙϣⲉ ϩⲓⲣⲛⲛⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲛ̀ⲉⲧϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϩⲉⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲉⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁ̀ⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ϩⲓⲣⲛⲛ̀ⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲉⲟⲥǹet·hoou nahei ǹp̀m̀θo èvol ǹnetnaneou ouoh nàsebys naṡemṡi hirnǹro ǹǹḋikeosEvil men shall fall before the good; and the ungodly shall attend at the gates of the righteous.
