29:8ϣⲁⲣⲉϩⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲩϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲣⲉⲕϩⲟⲩⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲕⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲣⲅⲏϣⲁⲣⲉϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲩϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲣⲉⲕϩⲟⲩⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲕⲧⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲣⲅⲏṡarehanrōmi evhoou rek·houpolis ṡareǹsofos ḋe kto èvol ǹouorgyLawless men burn down a city: but wise men turn away wrath.
29:9ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲩⲥⲱⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛϭⲱⲛⲧⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲩⲥⲱⲃⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ⲡ̀ⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϫⲱⲛⲧp̀rōmi ǹsofos nakrine ǹǹheθnos ṡavsōvi ḋe ǹsa p̀refernovi afṡangōntA wise man shall judge nations: but a worthless man being angry laughs and fears not.
29:10ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏϣⲁⲣⲉⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏṡareǹrōmi ǹs̀nof mestepeθouab ṡarenetsoutōn ḋe ṡini ǹsa tefpsiṡyBloody men hate a holy person, but the upright will seek his soul.
29:11ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲡⲉϩⲧⲡⲉϥϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϣⲁϥⲛⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲏⲙ ϣⲏⲙϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉϩⲧⲡⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡ̀ⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϣⲁ ϥⲛⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲏⲙ ϣⲏⲙṡarepat·hyt pehtpefgōnt èvol tyrf p̀·sofos ḋe ṡa fntf èvol ṡym ṡymA fool utters all is mind: but the wise reserves his in part.
29:12ⲟⲩⲣⲣⲟ ⲏϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛϫⲓⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲙϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲓⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ϩⲁⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲛⲁϥououro iefsōtem èousaji ǹċingons hanparanomos tyrou netṡemṡi nafWhen a king hearkens to unjust language, all his subjects are transgressors.

29:15ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲥⲏϣⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲉϫⲡⲓⲟ ϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲡⲗⲁⲛⲁ ⲛⲁϯϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧϣⲁⲣⲉⲛ̀ⲥⲏϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲡⲓⲟ ϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲡ̀ⲗⲁⲛⲁ ⲛⲁϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧṡareǹsyṡe nem ǹgpio ti ǹousofia p̀ṡyri ḋe etp̀lana natiṡipi ǹpefiōtStripes and reproofs give wisdom: but an erring child disgraces his parents.
29:16ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲁϣⲁⲓ ϩⲙⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ϩⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲣϩⲟⲧⲉϣⲁⲣⲉⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁ̀ⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ϩⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲣϩⲟϯṡareǹnovi àṡai xen p̀àṡai ǹnàsebys erṡanny ḋe hei ṡareǹḋikeos erhotiWhen the ungodly abound, sins abound: but when they fall, the righteous are warned.
29:17ϯⲥⲃⲓⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲧⲁⲣⲉϥϯⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲣⲩⲫⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲯⲩⲭⲏϯⲥⲃⲓⲟ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲧⲁⲣⲉϥϯⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲧⲣⲩⲫⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲯⲩⲭⲏtisvio ǹpekṡyri tareftiounof nak ouoh ǹtefti ǹoutrify ǹte tekpsiṡyChasten thy son, and he shall give thee rest; and he shall give honour to thy soul.
29:18ⲙⲛⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲡϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲁ̀ⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥnem niṡti naṡōpi ǹp̀heθnos ǹparanomos naiatf ḋe ǹpetàreh èp̀nomosThere shall be no interpreter to a sinful nation: but he that observes the law is blessed.
29:19ⲙⲛⲟⲩϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲧ ⲛⲁϫⲓⲥⲃⲱ ϩⲛϩⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲛⲟⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲛϥⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲁⲛⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲧ ⲛⲁϭⲓⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲉⲣⲛⲟⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ϥⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲁⲛnem ouvōk efnaṡt naċisvō xen hansaji afṡanernoin on ǹfnasōtem anA stubborn servant will not be reproved by words: for even if he understands, still he will not obey.
29:20ⲉⲕϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲉϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁⲑⲏⲧϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥⲁⲕϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁⲧϩⲏⲧϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥakṡannav èourōmi efċepy èsaji emi je ouontepat·hyt·helpis èhote èrofIf thou see a man hasty in his words, know that the fool has hope rather than he.
