40:7ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲉⲛϥⲣϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲗⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲟⲧⲉⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲉⲛ̀ϥⲉⲣϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ϩⲟϯaftōoun xen tiounou ǹpefougai eǹferṡfyri an ǹlaav ǹhotiWhen all is safe, he awaketh, and marvelleth that the fear was nothing.
40:8ⲙⲛⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲓⲙ ϫⲓⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϣⲁⲛⲧⲉⲃⲛⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲁϣϥ ⲛⲕⲱⲃ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϫⲛⲛⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉⲛⲉⲙ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϫⲓⲛⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϣⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲃⲛⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁϣϥ ⲛ̀ⲕⲱⲃ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓnem sarks niven jinǹrōmi ṡa ǹtevny ouoh ṡaṡf ǹkōb ǹnai netnnyou èjen ǹrefernoviSuch things happen unto all flesh, both man and beast, and that is sevenfold more upon sinners.
40:9ⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲡϯⲧⲱⲛ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲛⲧⲥⲏϥⲉ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩϩ ⲙⲛⲫⲉⲃⲱⲱⲛ ⲙⲛⲡⲟⲩⲱϣϥ ⲙⲛⲙⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲝⲡ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ϯⲧⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧ̀ⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲛⲁϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ϩ̀ⲃⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲱϣϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲝp̀mou nem p̀titōn nem p̀·s̀nof nem t̀syfi ǹsnah nem p̀h̀vōn nem p̀ouōṡf nem ǹmastiġksDeath, and bloodshed, strife, and sword, calamities, famine, tribulation, and the scourge;
40:10ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲥⲛⲧⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲕⲁⲧⲁⲕⲗⲩⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲛⲧⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲡ̀ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲕⲗⲩⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩetavsntnai tyrou ènanomos ouoh ǹtap̀kataklismos ṡōpi eθvytouThese things are created for the wicked, and for their sakes came the flood.

40:12ⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲓⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲁϥⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲛϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲁϥⲱϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲧ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲛ̀ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩḋōron niven ouoh ċingons niven nafōti èvol t̀pistis ḋe naaherats ǹṡa ènehAll bribery and injustice shall be blotted out: but true dealing shall endure for ever.
40:13ⲛⲉⲭⲣⲏⲙⲁ ⲛⲛⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲃⲁⲓ ⲛⲟϭ ϩⲛⲟⲩϩⲱⲟⲩⲛ̀ⲉⲭⲣⲏⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲃⲁⲓ ⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲱⲟⲩǹexryma ǹǹrefċingons naṡōoui ǹf̀ryti ǹoueiero ouoh senaōṡ èvol ǹf̀ryti ǹouhrouvvai niṡti xen ouhōouThe goods of the unjust shall be dried up like a river, and shall vanish with noise, like a great thunder in rain.
