44:6ϩⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲣⲙⲙⲁⲟ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲉϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲙⲙⲁⲟ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲛ̀ϫⲟⲙ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓxen rōmi ǹrmmao ne evmeh ǹgom evoi ǹeiryny xen nevmanṡōpiRich men furnished with ability, living peaceably in their habitations:
44:7ⲁⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϫⲓⲉⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲩⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲩϩⲟⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϫⲓⲉⲟⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ̀ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩanai tyrou jieoou xen nougeneà ouoh avṡōpi ǹṡouṡou xen nouèhoouAll these were honoured in their generations, and were the glory of their times.
44:8ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲩⲕⲱ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉϫⲱ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲧⲁⲓⲟⲟⲩⲟⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲁⲩⲭⲱ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ϫⲱ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁⲓⲟouonouon ǹxytou eavkō menensōou ǹpouran ègō ǹnoutaioThere be of them, that have left a name behind them, that their praises might be reported.

44:10ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲛⲁⲁ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲁ ⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲟⲩⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏalla nyi xen rōmi ǹnaa n nai ète m̀peourpōvṡ ǹnouḋikaiosinyBut these were merciful men, whose righteousness hath not been forgotten.

44:12ⲁⲡⲉⲩⲥⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϩⲛ[ⲛⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏ]ⲕⲏⲁⲡⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏapous̀perma aheratf xen ǹḋiaθykyTheir seed standeth fast, and their children for their sakes.
44:13ⲡⲉⲩⲥⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ϣⲁⲛⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛⲡⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ϣⲟⲡ ϣⲁ ⲛⲁⲓⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥⲱϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛpous̀perma ṡop ṡa naièneh ouoh pouōou nafōti èvol anTheir seed shall remain for ever, and their glory shall not be blotted out.
44:14ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲙⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲟⲛϩ ϣⲁϩⲛϫⲱⲙ ⲛϫⲱⲙⲁⲩⲑⲱⲙⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲟⲛϧ ϣⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ϫⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ϫⲱⲙavθōms ǹnousōma xen oueiryny ouoh pouran onx ṡa xen gōm ǹgōmTheir bodies are buried in peace; but their name liveth for evermore.
44:15(b) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲟⲩϩⲥ ⲛⲁϫⲱ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲧⲁⲓⲟ(b) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲟⲩϩⲥ ⲛⲁϫⲱ ⲛ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁⲓⲟ(b) ouoh ouon ousoouhs nagō ǹpoutaioThe people will tell of their wisdom, and the congregation will shew forth their praise.
44:16ⲁⲉⲛⲱⲭ ⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲡⲟⲟⲛⲉϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛ⟨ⲣ⟩ϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲛⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁⲁⲉⲛⲱⲭ ⲉⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲡⲟⲟⲛⲉϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ⲣϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ̀aenōx eranaf ǹp̀ċois afpoonef èvol ǹsmot ǹrhyt ǹǹgeneàEnoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, being an example of repentance to all generations.
