49:1μνημόσυνον Ἰωσείου εἰς σύνθεσιν θυμιάματος, ἐσκευασμένον ἔργῳ μυρεψοῦ· (2) ἐν παντὶ στόματι ὡς μέλι γλυκανθήσεται, καὶ ὡς μουσικὰ ἐν συμποσίῳ οἴνου.
49:2αὐτὸς κατευθύνθη ἐν ἐπιστροφῇ λαοῦ, καὶ ἐξῆρεν βδελύγματα ἀνομίας·
49:3κατεύθυνεν πρὸς Κύριον τὴν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ, ἐν ἡμέραις ἀνόμων κατίσχυσεν τὴν εὐσέβειαν.
49:4παρέξ Δαυεὶδ καὶ Ἐζεκίου καὶ Ἰωσείου πάντες πλημμελίαν ἐπλημμέλησαν· (6) κατέλιπον γὰρ τὸν νόμον τοῦ ὑψίστου, οἱ βασιλεῖς Ἰούδα ἐξέλιπον.
49:5ἔδωκαν γὰρ τὸ κέρας αὐτῶν ἑτέροις καὶ τὴν δόξαν αὐτῶν ἔθνει ἀλλοτρίῳ·
49:6ἐνεπύρισεν ἐκλεκτὴν πόλιν ἁγιάσματος, καὶ ἠρήμωσαν τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτῆς
49:7ἐν χειρὶ Ἰερεμίου· ἐκάκωσαν γὰρ αὐτόν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐν μήτρᾳ ἡγιάσθη προφήτης, ἐκριζοῦν καὶ κακοῦν καὶ ἀπολλύειν, ὡσαύτως οἰκοδομεῖν καὶ καταφυτεύειν.
49:8Ἰεζεκιήλ, ὃς εἶδεν ὅρασιν δόξης ἣν ὑπέδειξεν αὐτῷ ἐπὶ ἄρματος χερουβείμ·
49:9καὶ γὰρ ἐμνήσθη τῶν ἐχθρῶν ἐν ὄμβρῳ, καὶ ἀγαθῶσαι τοὺς εὐθύνοντας ὁδούς.
49:10καὶ τῶν ιβʼ προφητῶν τὰ ὀστᾶ ἀναθάλοι ἐκ τοῦ τόπου αὐτῶν. παρεκάλεσεν δὲ τὸν Ἰακώβ, καὶ ἐλυτρώσατο αὐτοὺς ἐν πίστει ἐλπίδος.
49:11πῶς μεγαλύνωμεν τὸν Ζοροβαβέλ ; καὶ αὐτὸς ὡς σφραγὶς ἐπὶ δεξιᾶς χειρός.
49:12οὕτως Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ἰωσεδὲκ· οἳ ἐν ἡμέραις αὐτῶν οἰκοδόμησαν οἶκον καὶ ἀνύψωσαν λαὸν ἅγιον Κυρίῳ ἡτοιμασμένον εἰς δόξαν αἰῶνος.
49:13καὶ νέμουσιν ἐπὶ πολὺ τὸ μνημόσυνον τοῦ ἐγείραντος ἡμῖν τείχη πεπτωκότα, καὶ στήσαντος πύλας καὶ μοχλούς, καὶ ἀνεγείραντος τὰ οἰκόπεδα ἡμῶν.
49:14οὐδὲ εἶς ἐκτίσθη οἷος Ἑνὼχ τοιοῦτος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. καὶ γὰρ αὐτὸς ἀνελήμφθη ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς·
49:15ὁ δὲ Ἰωσὴφ ἐγενήθη ἀνήρ. ἡγούμενος ἀδελφῶν, στήριγμα λαοῦ, (18)καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ αὐτοῦ ἐπεσκέπησαν.
49:16Σὴμ καὶ Σὴθ ἐν ἀνθρώποις ἐδοξάσθησαν, καὶ ὑπέρ πᾶν ζῷον ἐν τῇ κτίσει Ἀδάμ.
