51:2ὅτι σκεπαστὴς καὶ βοηθὸς ἐγένου μοι, (³)καὶ ἐλυτρώσω τὸ σῶμά μου ἐξ ἀπωλίας καὶ ἐκ παγίδος διαβολῆς γλώσσης, ἀπὸ χειλέων ἐργαζομένων ψεῦδος, καὶ ἔναντι τῶν παρεστηκότων
51:3ἐγένου βοηθός, ³καὶ ἐλυτρώσω με κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος ἐλέου καὶ ὀνόματός σου ἐκ βρυγμῶν ἕτοιμος εἰς βρῶμα, (⁵)ἐκ χειρὸς ζητούντων τὴν ψυχήν μου. ἐκ πλειόνων θλίψεων ὧν ἔσχον,
51:4ἀπὸ πνιγμοῦ πυρᾶς κυκλόθεν καὶ ἐκ μέσου πυρὸς οὗ οὐκ ἐξέκαυσα,
51:5ἐκ βάθους κοιλίας ἅδου, καὶ ἀπὸ γλώσσης ἀκαθάρτου καὶ λόγου ψευδοῦς.

51:7περιέσχον με πάντοθεν καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ βοηθῶν, ἐμβλέπων εἰς ἀντίλημψιν ἀνθρώπων καὶ οὐκ ἦν.
51:8καὶ ἐμνήσθην τοῦ ἐλέους σου, Κύριε, καὶ τῆς ἐργασίας σου τῆς ἀπʼ αἰῶνος, ⁽¹²)ὅτι ἐξελῇ τοὺς ὑπομένοντάς σε καὶ σώζεις αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς ἐθνῶν.
51:9καὶ ἀνύψωσα ἐπὶ γῆν ἱκετίαν μου, καὶ ὑπέρ θανάτου ῥύσεως ἐδεήθην
51:10ἐπεκαλεσάμην Κύριον πατέρα κυρίου μου, μὴ με ἐγκαταλιπεῖν ἐν ἡμέραις θλίψεως, ἐν καιρῷ ὑπερηφανιῶν ἀβοηθησίας.
51:11αἰνέσω τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐνδελεχῶς, καὶ ὑμνήσω ἐν ἐξομολογήσει καὶ εἰσηκούσθη ἡ δέησίς μου.
51:12ἔσωσας γάρ με ἐξ ἀπωλείας, καὶ ἐξείλου με ἐκ καιροῦ πονηροῦ· (17)διὰ τοῦτο ἐξομολογήσομαι καὶ αἰνέσω σοι, καὶ εὐλογήσω τῷ ὀνόματι Κυρίου.
51:13Ἔτι ὢν νεώτερος πρὶν ἢ πλατηθῆναί με, ἐζήτησα σοφίαν προφανῶς ἐν προσευχῇ μου·
51:14ἔναντι ναοῦ ἠξίουν περὶ αὐτῆς, καὶ ἕως ἐσχάτων ἐκζητήσω αὐτήν.
51:15ἐξ ἄνθους ὡς περκαζούσης σταφυλῆς (20)εὐφράνθη ἡ καρδία μου ἐν αὐτῇ· ἐπέβη ὁ πούς μου ἐν εὐθύτητι, ἐκ νεότητός μου ἴχνευον αὐτήν.
51:16ἔκλινα ὀλίγον τὸ οὖς μου καὶ ἐδεξάμην. καὶ πολλὴν εὗρον ἐμαυτῷ παιδείαο·
51:17προκοπὴ ἐγένετό μοι ἐν αὐτῇ· (23)τῷ διδόντι μοι σοφίαν δώσω δόξαν.
51:18διενοήθην γὰρ τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτήν, καὶ ἐζήλωσα τὸ ἀγαθόν, καὶ οὐ μὴ αἰσχυνθῶ.
51:19διαμεμάχισται ἡ ψυχή μου ἐν αὐτῇ, καὶ ἐν ποιήσει λιμοῦ διηκριβασάμην· (2⁶)τὰς χεῖράς μου ἐξεπέτασα πρὸς ὕψος, καὶ τὰ ἀγνοήματα αὐτῆς ἐπένθησα·
51:20τὴν ψυχήν μου κατεύθυνα εἰς αὐτήν, καρδίαν ἐκτησάμην μετʼ αὐτῶν ἀπʼ ἀρχῆς, καὶ ἐν καθαρισμῷ εὗρον αὐτήν· διὰ τοῦτο οὐ μὴ ἐγκαταλειφθῶ.
51:21καὶ ἡ κοιλία μου ἐταράχθη ἐκζητῆσαι αὐτὴν· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκτησάμην ἀγαθὸν κτῆμα.
51:22ἔδωκεν Κύριος γλῶσσάν μοι μισθόν μου. καὶ ἐν αὐτῇ αἰνέσω αὐτόν.
51:23Ἐγγίσατε πρὸς μέ, ἀπαίδευτοι, καὶ αὐλἰσθητε ἐν οἴκῳ παιδείας.
51:24καὶ ὅτι ὑστερεῖσθαι λέγετε ἐν τούτοις, καὶ αἱ ψυχαὶ ὑμῶν διψῶσι σφόδρα.
51:25ἤνοιξα τὸ στόμα μου καὶ ἐλάλησα Κτήσασθε αὐτοῖς ἄνευ ἀργυρίου·
51:26τὸν τράχηλον ὑμῶν ὑπόθετε ὑπὸ ζυγόν, καὶ ἐπιδεξάσθω ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμῶν παιδείαν· ἐγγύς ἐστιν εὑρεῖν αὐτήν.
51:27ἴδετε ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς ὑμῶν ὅτι ὀλίγον ἐκοπίασα, καὶ εὗρον ἐμαυτῷ πολλὴν ἀνάπαυσιν.
51:28μετάσχετε παιδείαν ἐν πολλῷ ἀριθμῷ ἀργυρίομ. καὶ πολὺν χρυσὸν κτήσασθε ἐν αὐτῇ·
51:29εὐφρανθείη ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμῶν ἐν τῷ ἐλέει αὐτοῦ. καὶ μὴ αἰσχυνθείητε ἐν αἰνέσει αὐτοῦ·
51:30ἐργάζεσθε τὸ ἔργον ὑμῶν πρὸ καιροί, καὶ δώσει τὸν μισθὸν ὑμῶν ἐν καιρῷ αὐτοῦ.
