14:3ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛϭⲓⲫⲁⲣⲁⲱ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲉⲣⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲓ︤ⲏ︦ⲗ︥ ⲥⲟⲣⲙ ⲁⲡϫⲁⲓⲉ ⲛⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲧⲁⲙ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥ̀ⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲫⲁⲣⲁⲱ̀ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲛ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲥⲟⲣⲙ ⲁ ⲡ̀ϫⲁⲓⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩouoh f̀nagos ǹje faraṑ ǹpeflaos je èreǹṡyri ǹpisrayl sorm a p̀gaie ǹteġar ṡθam èrōouAnd Pharao will say to his people, As for these children of Israel, they are wandering in the land, for the wilderness has shut them in.

And they did so.

14:6ⲁⲫⲁⲣⲁⲱ ⲛⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲛⲟⲩϩⲃ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲁⲣⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥⲁⲫⲁⲣⲁⲱ̀ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲛⲟⲩϩⲃ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϩⲁⲣⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥafaraṑ ḋe afnouhv ǹnefharma tyrou ouoh afsōouh èxoun ǹpeflaos tyrf nemafSo Pharao yoked his chariots, and led off all his people with himself:
14:7ⲁϥϫⲓⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲉ ⲛϩⲁⲣⲙⲁ ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲙⲛⲛⲉϩⲧⲱⲣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲣⲙⲛⲕⲏⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲣⲓⲥⲧⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩⲁϥϭⲓⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϣⲟ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲣⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲑⲱⲣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ⲣⲉⲙⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲧⲣⲓⲥⲧⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩafċisoou ǹṡo ǹharma ǹsōtp nem ǹhaθōr tyrou ǹǹremnkymi ouoh netristatys ehrai ègōou tyrouhaving also taken six hundred chosen chariots, and all the cavalry of the Egyptians, and rulers over all.
14:8ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲇⲉ ⲁϥϯⲛϣⲟⲧ ⲙⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲫⲁⲣⲁⲱ ⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲕⲏⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲁⲩⲡⲱⲧ ϩⲓⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲓ︤ⲏ︦ⲗ︥ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲓ︤ⲏ︦ⲗ︥ ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲡⲉ ϩⲛⲟⲩϭⲓϫ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲟⲣⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϯⲛϣⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲫⲁⲣⲁⲱ̀ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡ̀ϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲁⲩⲫⲱⲧ ϩⲓⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲛ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲟⲣp̀ċois ḋe aftinṡot ǹp̀hyt ǹfaraṑ p̀ouro ǹkymi ouoh p̀hyt ǹnefvōk avfōt hifahou ǹǹṡyri ǹpisrayl ǹṡyri ḋe ǹpisrayl navmoṡi pe xen oujig esgoorAnd the Lord hardened the heart of Pharao king of Egypt, and of his servants, and he pursued after the children of Israel; and the children of Israel went forth with a high hand.

What is this that thou hast done to us, having brought us out of Egypt?
