27:1ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥAnd the word of the Lord came to me saying,
27:2ϫⲉⲛⲧⲟⲕ ϩⲱⲱⲕ ⲡϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲉϫⲛⲥⲟⲣAnd thou, son of man, take up a lamentation against Sor;

27:4ⲉⲓϩⲙ ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲛⲃⲉⲉⲗⲉⲓⲙ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲁⲩϯⲡⲉⲓⲥⲁ ⲉⲣⲟIn the heart of the sea thy sons have put beauty upon thee for Beelim.
27:5ⲧⲕⲉⲇⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲥⲉⲛⲉⲓⲣ ⲁⲩⲕⲟⲧⲥ ⲛⲉ ϩⲉⲛϣⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲁϭⲉ ⲛϣⲉ ⲛⲕⲩⲡⲁⲣⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲗⲓⲃⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛϣⲧⲉ ⲛϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲗⲗⲧⲏCedar in Senir was employed for thee in building: boards of cypress timber were taken out of Libanus, and wood to make thee masts of fir.
27:6ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲟⲥⲣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲡⲏⲩⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲉⲗⲉⲫⲁⲥ ϩⲉⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛϩⲁⲓⲃⲉⲥ ⲛϣⲏⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲛⲏⲥⲟⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲧⲓⲛThey made thine oars of wood out of the land of Basan; thy sacred utensils they made of ivory, thy shady houses of wood from the isles of Chetiim.
27:7ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩϣⲛⲥ ⲙⲛϩⲉⲛⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲁⲩⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲕⲏⲙⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲣⲏϣ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲛⲟⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϭⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲩⲁⲕⲓⲛⲑⲓⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲟⲩϫⲏϭⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲛⲏⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲗⲓⲥⲁⲅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲛⲉϣⲁⲣⲉϭⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩFine linen with embroidery from Egypt supplied the couch, to put honour upon thee, and to clothe thee with blue and purple from the isles of Elisai; and they became thy coverings.
27:8ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ⲛⲉ ϩⲛⲥⲓⲇⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲕ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲟⲥⲣ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲃⲉⲉⲩ ⲥⲟⲣ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲣϩⲙⲙⲉAnd thy princes were the dwellers in Sidon, and the Aradians were thy rowers: thy wise men, O Sor, who were in thee, these were thy pilots.
27:9ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲩϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲉ ⲡⲟⲩϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϫⲏⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲡ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛThe elders of the Biblians, and their wise men, who were in thee, these helped thy counsel: and all the ships of the sea and their rowers traded for thee to the utmost west.
27:10ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲥⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲗⲩⲧⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲧⲗⲓⲃⲩⲏ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛⲧⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲙⲓϣⲉ ϩⲙⲡⲡⲟⲗⲉⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲱⲕ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲩⲡⲉⲣⲓⲕⲉⲫⲁⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲁϣⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩPersians and Lydians and Libyans were in thine army: thy warriors hung in thee shields and helmets; these gave thee thy glory.
27:11ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲧⲉⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲓϫⲛⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲃⲧ ⲛⲉⲧⲣⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛⲛⲟⲩⲡⲩⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲛⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲥⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲁϣⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲩϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲁThe sons of the Aradians and thine army were upon the walls; there were guards in thy towers: they hung their quivers on thy battlements round about; these completed thy beauty.
27:12ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲕⲁⲣⲭⲏⲧⲱⲛ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲁⲩⲡⲱⲣϣ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁ ϩⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲧ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲡⲉⲛⲓⲡⲉ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲃⲁⲥϭⲛ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϩⲧThe Carthaginians were thy merchants because of the abundance of all thy strength; they furnished thy market with silver, and gold, and iron, and tin, and lead.
27:13ⲁⲩⲱ ⲑⲁⲗⲗⲁⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲕⲉⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ϩⲛϩⲉⲛⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲛϩⲛⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲟⲙⲛⲧ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲉⲡϣⲱⲧGreece, both the whole world, and the adjacent coasts, these traded with thee in the persons of men, and they gave as thy merchandise vessels of brass.
27:14ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲏⲓ ⲛⲑⲉⲣⲅⲁⲙⲁ ϩⲉⲛⲧⲱⲱⲣ ⲙⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲓⲡⲡⲉⲩⲥ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁOut of the house of Thogarma horses and horsemen furnished the market.
27:15ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϩⲣⲟⲇⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲁϣⲟ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲓⲉⲡϣⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲛⲏⲥⲟⲥ ϩⲛϩⲉⲛϣⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲗⲉⲫⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲛⲛⲉϣⲁⲩⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉϣⲁⲣⲉϯ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃⲉⲕⲉⲉⲩⲉThe sons of the Rhodians were thy merchants; from the islands they multiplied thy merchandise, even elephants' teeth: and to them that came in thou didst return thy prices,
27:16ⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲓⲉⲡϣⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲧⲏϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲛⲧⲥ ⲛⲥⲧⲁⲕⲧⲏ ϩⲓⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲁⲩⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲑⲁⲣⲥⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲙⲙⲱⲑ ⲙⲛⲕⲟⲣⲭⲟⲣ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁeven men as thy merchandise, from the multitude of thy trading population, myrrh and embroidered works from Tharsis: Ramoth also and Chorchor furnished thy market.
27:17ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲏⲗ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲩϯ ⲥⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲛⲛϩⲏⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲕⲁⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲧⲡ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲛⲉϩ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲛⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲧⲏϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲉJuda and the children of Israel, these were thy merchants; in the sale of corn and ointments and cassia: and they gave the best honey, and oil, and resin, to thy trading population.
27:18ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲥⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲟⲩⲏⲣⲡ ⲛⲉⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲭⲉⲃⲣⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲥⲟⲣⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲙⲓⲗⲏⲧⲟⲥThe people of Damascus were thy merchants by reason of the abundance of all thy power; wine out of Chelbon, and wool from Miletus; and they brought wine into thy market.
27:19ⲟⲩⲏⲣⲡ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁϥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲡⲉⲛⲓⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲛⲅ ⲁⲩⲛⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲁⲥⲏⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲧⲧⲏϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲉOut of Asel came wrought iron, and there is the sound of wheels among thy trading population.
27:20ⲇⲁⲓⲇⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ϩⲛϩⲉⲛⲧⲃⲛⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲧⲡ ⲉϩⲉⲛϩⲁⲣⲙⲁThe people of Daedan were thy merchants, with choice cattle for chariots.
27:21ⲧⲁⲣⲁⲃⲓⲁ ⲙⲛⲛⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲕⲏⲇⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ϩⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲉⲛϭⲁⲙⲟⲩⲗ ⲙⲛϩⲉⲛⲟⲓⲗⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲉⲓⲉⲡϣⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉArabia and all the princes of Kedar, these were thy traders with thee, bringing camels, and lambs, and rams, in which they trade with thee.
27:22ⲛϭⲓⲛⲉϣⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲅⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ϩⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲏⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲥⲟⲩⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲕⲉⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁThe merchants of Sabba and Ramma, these were thy merchants, with choice spices, and precious stones: and they brought gold to thy market.
27:23ⲭⲁⲣⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲛⲭⲁⲛⲁⲁⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲥⲥⲟⲩⲣ ⲙⲛⲭⲁⲣⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉCharra, and Chanaa, these were thy merchants: Assur, and Charman, were thy merchants:
27:24ⲉⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲡϣⲱⲧ ⲟⲩϩⲩⲁⲕⲓⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲁϩⲱⲱⲣ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲧⲡ ⲉⲩⲙⲏⲣ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϩbringing for merchandise blue, and choice stores bound with cords, and cypress wood.
27:25ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲉϫⲏⲩ ⲛϣⲉ ⲛⲕⲩⲡⲁⲣⲓⲥⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲉϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲉ ϩⲙⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲧⲏϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲣⲥⲉⲓ ⲁⲣⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉShips were thy merchants, in abundance, with thy trading population: and thou wast filled and very heavily loaded in the heart of the sea.
27:26ⲛⲉⲧⲥⲉⲕ ⲟⲩⲟⲥⲣ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱⲕ ⲙⲙⲟϩⲙⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ⲡⲧⲟⲩⲣⲏⲥ ⲁϥⲑⲙⲕⲟ ⲛⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲙⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁThy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the south wind has broken thee in the heart of the sea.
27:27ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲟⲩⲃⲉⲕⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲧⲏϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲥⲉⲕ ⲟⲩⲟⲥⲣ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲙⲛⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϩⲙⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧϫⲓϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲧⲏϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙⲓϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲟⲩⲥⲟⲟⲩϩⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϩⲉ ϩⲛⲧⲟⲩⲙⲏⲧⲉ ϩⲙⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ϩⲙⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲉThy forces, and thy gain, and that of thy traders, and thy rowers, and thy pilots, and thy counselors, and they that traffic with thee, and all thy warriors that are in thee: and all thy company in the midst of thee shall perish in the heart of the sea, in the day of thy fall.
27:28ⲡⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϩⲙⲙⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲧⲟⲣⲧⲣ ϩⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲑⲟⲧⲉ ϫⲓⲧⲟⲩAt the cry of thy voice thy pilots shall be greatly terrified.
