And a message was brought to the house of David, saying, Aram has conspired with Ephraim. And his soul was amazed, and the soul of his people, as in a wood a tree is moved by the wind.

And the Lord said to Esaias, Go forth to meet Achaz, thou, and thy son Jasub who is left, to the pool of the upper way of the fuller's field.

And thou shalt say to him, Take care to be quiet, and fear not, neither let thy soul be disheartened because of these two smoking firebrands: for when my fierce anger is over, I will heal again.
7:5	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲣⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲉⲗⲓⲁⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲉϥϩⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲣⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲉⲗⲓⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲉϥϩⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.	Ouoh p̀ṡyri ǹaram nem p̀ṡyri ǹromelias je avsoċni ǹousoċni efhōou harok evgō m̀mos.	And as for the son of Aram, and the son of Romelias, forasmuch as they have devised an evil counsel, saying,
7:6	ϫⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲛⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲉ̀ϯⲓⲟⲩⲇⲉⲁ̀ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲥⲑⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲃⲉⲏⲗ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲛ . We will go up against Judea, and having conferred with them we will turn them away to our side, and we will make the son of Tabeel king of it;
7:7	ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲥⲁⲃⲁⲱⲑ ϫⲉⲛ̀ⲛⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ .	Ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲥⲁⲃⲁⲱⲑ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ.	Nai ne nyètefgō m̀mōou ǹje p̀ċois sabaōθ je ǹne paisoċni òhi ouḋe ǹnefṡōpi.	thus saith the Lord of hosts, This counsel shall not abide, nor come to pass.
7:8	ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲁⲣⲁⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲣⲁⲥⲥⲱⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲕⲉⲝ̅ⲉ̅ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲑ̀ⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ . But the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus, Rasim; and yet within sixty and five years the kingdom of Ephraim shall cease from being a people.
7:9	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲥⲟⲙⲟⲣⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲙⲟⲣⲱ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲉⲗⲓⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲛⲁϩϯ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲁϯ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲉⲫⲣⲉⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲥⲟⲙⲟⲣⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲙⲟⲣⲱ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲉⲗⲓⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲛⲁϩϯ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲁϯ. And the head of Ephraim is Somoron, and the head of Somoron the son of Romelias: but if ye believe not, neither will ye at all understand.
7:10	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲭⲁⲍ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲁⲭⲁⲍ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.	Ouoh afouahtotf ǹje p̀ċois èsaji nem axaz efgō m̀mos.	And the Lord again spoke to Achaz, saying,
7:11	ϫⲉⲁⲣⲓⲉ̀ⲧⲓⲛ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϭⲓⲥⲓ .	Ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲓⲉ̀ⲧⲓⲛ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲓⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϭⲓⲥⲓ.	Je ariètin nak ǹoumyini ǹtenp̀ċois peknouti èp̀ṡōi ie èp̀ċisi.	Ask for thyself a sign of the Lord thy God, in the depth or in the height.
