8:3	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϯⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉϣⲱⲗ ⲛ̀ⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲓⲱⲥ . For before the child shall know how to call his father or his mother, one shall take the power of Damascus and the spoils of Samaria before the king of the Assyrians.
8:5	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ⲧⲓ ⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ.	Ouoh afouahtotf ǹje p̀ċois èti èsaji nemyi.	And the Lord spoke to me yet again, saying,
8:6	ⲉⲑⲃⲉϫⲉϥ̀ⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲓⲗⲱⲁⲙ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲏ̀ⲥⲓⲭⲓⲁ̀ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲣⲁⲥⲥⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲉⲗⲓⲁⲥ . Because this people chooses not the water of Siloam that goes softly, but wills to have Rassin, and the son of Romelias to be king over you;

And whatsoever counsel ye shall take, the Lord shall bring it to nought; and whatsoever word ye shall speak, it shall not stand among you: for God is with us.
8:11	ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϥ̀ϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁϯϫⲓϫ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲣ ϧⲉⲛⲫ̀ⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ .	Ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϥ̀ϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ϯϫⲓϫ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲣ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫ̀ⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ. Ϫⲉ ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲧ: ϩⲱⲃ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲧ: ⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲏ: ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣϣ̀ⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ϧⲁ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲏ. Let them not say, It is hard, for whatsoever this people says, is hard: but fear not ye their fear, neither be dismayed.
8:13	ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲙⲁⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲩϩⲟϯ .	Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲙⲁⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲩϩⲟϯ.	P̀ċois ḋe ǹθof matouvof ouoh ǹθof efèṡōpi nak evhoti.	Sanctify ye the Lord himself; and he shall be thy fear.
8:14	ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲕϣⲁⲛⲭⲁϩ̀ⲑⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ϥ̀ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϭⲣⲟⲡ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲉⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲟⲩⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲥⲉϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲫⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ .	Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲕϣⲁⲛⲭⲁϩ̀ⲑⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ϥ̀ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϭⲣⲟⲡ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲉⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲥⲉϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲫⲁϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ. 8:15	ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ .	Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϩⲁ ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉϩ̀ⲑⲏⲓ ⲭⲏ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ. And if they should say to you, Seek those who have in them a divining spirit, and them that speak out of the earth, them that speak vain words, who speak out of their belly: shall not a nation diligently seek to their God? why do they seek to the dead concerning the living?
8:20	ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲩⲃⲟⲏ̀ⲑⲓⲁ̀ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥ̀ϣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ϯ ⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ .	Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲩⲃⲟⲏ̀ⲑⲓⲁ̀ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥ̀ϣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ϯ ⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϩ̀ⲃⲱⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛϩ̀ⲕⲟ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩⲛ̀ϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲧⲓⲱⲧ.
