45:5ⲡⲉϫⲉⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ϥϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛϭⲓϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲙⲡϥϣ ϭⲙ ϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲣⲣⲟⲡⲉϫⲉⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲓⲥϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲉϥϣ ϭⲙ ϫⲟⲙ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟpejep̀ouro nōou je is·hyppe ǹθof f xen ǹnetenjig èvol jempefṡ ċm gom èrōou ǹje p̀ouroThen the king said, Behold, he is in your hands. For the king could not resist them.
45:6ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲛⲟϫϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲏⲓ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲁⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲛⲧⲁⲩⲗⲏ ⲙⲡⲉϣⲧⲉⲕⲟ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲭⲁⲗⲁ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲏⲓ ⲡϣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲗⲟⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙⲡⲗⲟⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲡⲉⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲛⲟϫϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲓ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲁⲥ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲁⲩⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϣ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲭⲁⲗⲁ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲓ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲗⲟⲓϩⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥϩⲣⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲗⲟⲓϩⲉ ⲡⲉouoh avnogf ehrai èp̀ṡyi mmelkias p̀ṡyri ǹp̀ouro fai etxen t̀avly ǹp̀ṡ̀teko ouoh afxala m̀mof ehrai èp̀ṡyi p̀ṡyi ḋe ne nem mou ǹxytf alla ouloihe pe ouoh nafhrai xen p̀loihe peAnd they cast him into the dungeon of Melchias the king's son, which was in the court of the prison; and they let him down into the pit: and there was no water in the pit, but mire: and he was in the mire.

45:8ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲃⲇⲉⲙⲉⲗⲉⲭ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲃⲇⲉⲙⲉⲗⲉⲭ ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥouoh abdemelex afì èvol afsaji nem p̀ouro efgō m̀mos nafand he went forth to him, and spoke to the king and said,
45:9ϫⲉⲁⲕⲣⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲕⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲕⲙⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛⲟⲩϩⲕⲟ ϫⲉⲙⲛⲟⲉⲓⲕ ϫⲓⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲉⲣⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲕⲁⲓⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲑⲣⲉⲕⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲕⲟ ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲱⲓⲕ ϫⲓⲛϯⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥje akerpet·hoou xen netakaiou èθrekmou ǹp̀rōmi ǹf̀nouti xen ouhko je m̀mon ōik jintinou xen t̀polisThou hast done evil in what thou hast done to slay this man with hunger: for there is no more bread in the city.
