15:1ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲉⲩⲇⲏⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲓⲛⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲛϯⲇⲟⲩⲙⲁⲓⲁ ϫⲓⲛⲧⲉⲣⲏⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲓⲛ ϣⲁϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲕⲁⲇⲏⲥ ⲉⲡⲥⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧAnd the borders of the tribe of Juda according to their families were from the borders of Idumea from the wilderness of sin, as far as Cades southward.
15:2ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ϫⲓⲛⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧ ϣⲁϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲙⲙⲗϩ ϫⲓⲛⲙⲡⲕⲟⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧAnd their borders were from the south as far as a part of the salt sea from the high country that extends southward.
15:3ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲏⲕ ϣⲁⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲛⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲁⲕⲣⲁⲃⲓⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲁⲕⲥⲉⲛⲁⲭⲓⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϫⲓⲛⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧ ⲉϫⲛⲕⲁⲇⲏⲥ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲁⲥⲱⲣⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲁⲥⲁⲣⲁⲇⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛⲕⲁⲇⲏⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲙⲙⲁ ⲛϩⲱⲧⲡAnd they proceed before the ascent of Acrabin, and go out round Sena, and go up from the south to Cades Barne; and go out to Asoron, and proceed up to Sarada, and go out by the way that is west of Cades.
15:4ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛⲥⲉⲗⲙⲱⲛⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲁ ⲛⲕⲏⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲓⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲧⲟϣ ϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϫⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ϫⲓⲛⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧAnd they go out to Selmona, and issue at the valley of Egypt; and the termination of its boundaries shall be at the sea: these are their boundaries southward.
15:5ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ϫⲓⲛⲙⲙⲁ ⲛϣⲁ ⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲙⲙⲗϩ ϣⲁϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲉⲙϩⲓⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲓⲛⲙⲡⲕⲟⲟϩ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲥⲉ ⲙⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲓⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥAnd their boundaries eastward are all the salt sea as far as Jordan; and their borders from the north, and from the border of the sea, and from part of Jordan
15:6ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛⲃⲁⲓⲑⲁⲅ ⲗⲁⲁⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ϫⲓⲛⲡⲉⲙϩⲓⲧ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲁⲓⲑⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲃⲁⲓⲱⲛ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲏⲛthe borders go up to Baethaglaam, and they go along from the north to Baetharaba, and the borders go on up to the stone of Baeon the son of Ruben.
15:7ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉϫⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛⲡⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲓⲁ ⲛⲁⲭⲱⲣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛⲅⲁⲗⲅⲁⲗ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲙⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϫⲓⲥⲉ ⲛⲁⲇⲁⲙⲓⲛ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲉⲙⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲡⲏⲅⲏ ⲙⲡⲣⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲡⲏⲅⲏ ⲛϩⲣⲱⲅⲏⲗAnd the borders continue on to the fourth part of the valley of Achor, and go down to Galgal, which is before the approach of Adammin, which is southward in the valley, and terminate at the water of the fountain of the sun; and their going forth shall be the fountain of Rogel.
15:8ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲁ ⲛⲟⲛⲱⲙ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲣⲏⲥ ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲃⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲓⲛⲡⲉϥⲉⲙⲛⲧ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲕⲟⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲙⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲓⲁ ⲛⲟⲛⲱⲙ ϩⲁⲧⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲟⲩⲥⲁ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛϩⲣⲁⲫⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲉⲙϩⲓⲧAnd the borders go up to the valley of Ennom, behind Jebus southward; this is Jerusalem: and the borders terminate at the top of the mountain, which is before the valley of Ennom toward the sea, which is by the side of the land of Raphain northward.
15:9ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲧⲟϣ ϥⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲓⲛⲛϫⲱϥ ⲙⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲛⲧⲡⲏⲅⲏ ⲡⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲭⲑ ⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲫⲣⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲧⲟϣ ϥⲛⲁⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲉϫⲛⲓⲉⲃⲁⲁⲗ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲓⲁⲣⲓⲙAnd the border going forth from the top of the mountain terminates at the fountain of the water of Naphtho, and terminates at mount Ephron; and the border will lead to Baal; this is the city of Jarim.
15:10ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲧⲟϣ ϥⲛⲁⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲉϫⲛⲃⲁⲁⲗ ⲉϫⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥⲁⲓⲣⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲁⲥⲡⲓⲣ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲓⲁⲣⲓⲙ ϫⲓⲛⲙⲡⲉⲙϩⲓⲧ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲭⲁⲥⲇⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲣⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧAnd the border will go round from Baal to the sea, and will go on to the mount of Assar behind the city of Jarin northwards; this is Chaslon: and it will come down to the city of Sun, and will go on to the south.
15:11ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲧⲟϣ ϥⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲥⲁⲥⲡⲓⲣ ⲛⲁⲕⲕⲁⲣⲱⲛ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲉⲙϩⲓⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲥⲟⲭⲱⲑ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲉⲙⲛⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲛⲗⲉⲙⲛⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲓⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϫⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁAnd the border terminates behind Accaron northward, and the borders will terminate at Socchoth, and the borders will go on to the south, and will terminate at Lebna, and the issue of the borders will be at the sea; and their borders shall be toward the sea, the great sea shall be the boundary.
15:12ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ϫⲓⲛⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲛⲟϭ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲉⲧⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲉⲩⲇⲏⲙⲟⲥThese are the borders of the children of Juda round about according to their families.
15:13ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲭⲁⲗⲉⲃ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲫⲟⲛⲏ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲓⲥ ϩⲛⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁ ϩⲓⲧⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲣⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲧⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲭⲉⲃⲣⲱⲛAnd to Chaleb the son of Jephone he gave a portion in the midst of the children of Juda by the command of God; and Joshua gave him the city of Arboc the metropolis of Enac; this is Chebron.
15:14ⲁⲭⲁⲗⲉⲃ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲫⲟⲛⲏ ⲁϥϥⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲡϣⲱⲙⲛⲧ ⲛϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲁⲕ ⲥⲟⲩⲥⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲁⲱⲑ ⲗⲙⲉⲓ ⲙⲛⲁⲭⲓⲙⲁAnd Chaleb the son of Jephone destroyed thence the three sons of Enac, Susi, and Tholami, and Achima.
15:15ⲭⲁⲗⲉⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉϫⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛⲇⲁⲃⲓⲣ ⲇⲁⲃⲓⲣ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ϫⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲥϩⲁⲓAnd Chaleb went up thence to the inhabitants of Dabir; and the name of Dabir before was the city of Letters.
15:16ⲁⲩⲱ ⲭⲁⲗⲉⲃ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲛϥⲧⲁⲕⲟⲥ ϯⲛⲁϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲉⲥⲭⲁ ⲧⲁϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲥϩⲓⲙⲉAnd Chaleb said, Whosoever shall take and destroy the city of Letters, and master it, to him will I give my daughter Ascha to wife.
15:17ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛϭⲓⲅⲟⲑⲟⲛⲓⲏⲗ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲅⲉⲛⲉⲍ ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲭⲁⲗⲉⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲉⲥⲭⲁ ⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲥϩⲓⲙⲉAnd Gothoniel the son of Chenez the brother of Chaleb took it; and he gave him Ascha his daughter to wife.
15:18ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥϫⲓϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲧⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲓⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛϭⲓⲭⲁⲗⲉⲃ ϫⲉⲁϩⲣⲟ ⲧⲉⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗAnd it came to pass as she went out that she counselled him, saying, I will ask of my father a field; and she cried from off her ass; and Chaleb said to her, What is it?
15:19ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲁⲕⲧⲁⲁⲧ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲁⲅⲉⲃ ⲟⲩⲕⲁϩ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲏⲩ ⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲃⲁⲓⲑⲑⲓⲁⲛⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛⲧⲅⲟⲛⲁⲓⲑⲗⲁⲁⲙ ⲉⲧϩⲙⲡϩⲃⲃⲉAnd she said to him, Give me a blessing, for thou hast set me in the land of Nageb; give me Botthanis: and he gave her Gonaethla the upper, and Gonaethla the lower.
15:20ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁThis is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Juda.
15:21ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲛⲉⲩⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲧϣⲣⲡ ⲙⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲉⲇⲱⲙ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲣⲏⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲃⲉⲥⲉⲏⲗⲏⲉⲓⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲣⲁ ⲙⲛⲁⲥⲱⲣAnd their cities were cities belonging to the tribe of the children of Juda on the borders of Edom by the wilderness, and Baeseleel, and Ara, and Asor,
15:22ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲅⲙⲁ ⲙⲛⲣⲉⲅⲙⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲣⲟⲩⲏⲗand Icam, and Regma, and Aruel,
15:23ⲙⲛⲕⲁⲇⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲥⲟⲣⲓⲛⲱⲛⲁⲉⲓⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲉⲙⲁⲛand Cades, and Asorionain, and Maenam,
15:24ⲁⲩⲱ ⲃⲁⲗⲙⲁⲑ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲩⲧⲙⲉand Balmaenan, and their villages,
15:25ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲥⲣⲱⲙ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲥⲱⲣand the cities of Aseron, this is Asor,
15:26ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲏⲙ ⲙⲛⲁⲥⲁⲗⲙⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲱⲗⲁⲇⲁand Sen, and Salmaa, and Molada,
15:27ⲙⲛⲥⲉⲣⲅⲁⲣⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲃⲉⲫⲁⲗⲁⲑand Seri, and Baephalath,
15:28ⲙⲛⲭⲟⲗⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲱⲗⲁ ⲙⲛⲃⲉⲣⲥⲏⲃⲉⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲙⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲩⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲏ ⲛⲉⲩⲣⲥⲟⲟⲩⲉand Cholaseola, and Beersabee; and their villages, and their hamlets,
15:29ⲃⲁⲗⲁⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲕⲟⲕ ⲁⲥⲟⲙBala and Bacoc, and Asom,
15:30ⲙⲛⲉⲗⲑⲱⲩⲇⲁⲇ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲃⲁⲓⲑⲏⲗ ⲙⲛϩⲉⲣⲙⲁand Elboudad, and Baethel, and Herma,
