Good understanding will draw near to them that know it, and a sensible man will find it. He that does much harm perfects mischief; and he that used provoking words shall not escape.

19:9ⲙⲙⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛϫⲓⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲁⲣⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲧⲙϩⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲁⲣⲃⲟⲗ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧϣⲧⲉⲙϩⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ϥ̀ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲥm̀monoumeθre ǹċingons narvol èpet·hoou petṡtemho ḋe ǹoukakia f̀natako ǹxytsA false witness shall not be unpunished; and whosoever shall kindle mischief shall perish by it.
19:10ⲙⲙⲛⲧⲣⲩⲫⲏ ⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲁⲣⲭⲉⲓ ϩⲛⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ϥⲛⲁϫⲓ ⲛϫⲛⲁϩ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱϣⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲣⲩⲫⲏ ⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲁⲣⲭⲉⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ϥ̀ⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲛⲁϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲱϣm̀montrify rnofre ǹpat·hyt ouoh erṡanouvōk arṡei xen ouhōb f̀naċi ǹgnah xen ousōṡDelight does not suit a fool, nor is it seemly if a servant should begin to rule with haughtiness.
19:11ϣⲁⲣⲉⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲛⲁⲏⲧ ⲣϩⲁⲣϣϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉϥϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϫⲛⲙⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥϣⲁⲣⲉⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲏⲧ ⲣϩⲁⲣϣϩⲏⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡⲉϥϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥṡarep̀rōmi ǹnayt rharṡhyt ère pefṡouṡou ḋe nyou èjen ǹparanomosA merciful man is long-suffering; and his triumph overtakes transgressors.
19:12ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲁⲡⲉⲓⲗⲏ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲣⲟ ⲟ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲁϣⲁϩⲟⲩⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲣⲟⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲟ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲱⲧⲉ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲭⲟⲣⲧⲟⲥⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲁⲡⲉⲓⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁϣⲁϩⲟⲩⲙ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲣⲟⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲱϯ ϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲭⲟⲣⲧⲟⲥèretapeily ǹououro oi ǹf̀ryti ǹpaṡahoum ǹoumou ère pefourot ḋe oi ǹf̀ryti ǹouiōti hi ouxortosThe threatening of a king is like the roaring of a lion; but as dew on the grass, so is his favour.
19:13ⲟⲩϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲛⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲃⲉⲕⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁⲟⲩϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲃⲉⲭⲉ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁouṡipe ǹouiōt pe ouṡyri ǹat·hyt ouoh nanenerate an èvol xen ǹveke ǹouheteraA foolish son is a disgrace to his father: vows paid out of the hire of a harlot are not pure.
19:14ϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲓⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϣⲏⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲕⲁ ⲉϫⲛⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉϣⲁⲩϣⲉⲛϥ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉϣⲁⲣⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲡ̀ϣⲏⲓ ϩⲓ ⲛ̀ⲕⲁ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϣⲁⲩϣⲉⲛϥ ⲟⲩⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯṡarenioti p̀ṡyi hi ǹka èjen ǹṡyri eṡavṡenf ous̀·himi ḋe ǹp̀rōmi èvol hiten f̀noutiFathers divide house and substance to their children: but a wife is suited to a man by the Lord.
19:15ϣⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧϭⲱⲃ ⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙⲡϭⲁⲃϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲉⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲁⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϩⲕⲟϣⲁⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϫⲱⲃ ⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ϭⲁⲃϩⲏⲧ ⲧ̀ⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϩⲕⲟṡareoumetgōb amahte ǹp̀ċavhyt t̀psiṡy ḋe ǹnarġos nahkoCowardice possesses the effeminate man; and the soul of the sluggard shall hunger.
19:16ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉϥⲛⲁϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲓⲟⲟⲩⲉ ϥⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲁ̀ⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲁ̀ⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲙⲱⲓⲧ ϥ̀ⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩpetnaàreh ètentoly efnaàreh ètefpsiṡy peterkatafronin ḋe ǹnefmōit f̀namouHe that keeps the commandment keeps his own soul; but he that despises his ways shall perish.
19:17ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲏⲕⲉ ϯϩⲁⲧ ⲉⲙⲏⲥⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲱⲱⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉϥϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲁϫⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲩⲉⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲏⲕⲓ ϯϩⲁⲧ ⲉ̀ⲙⲏⲥⲉ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ϥ̀ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲱⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉϥϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲉϥϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓèrepetna ǹouhyki tihat èmyse ǹf̀nouti f̀natōōve ḋe naf kata pefti ère p̀ouai ġar p̀ouai naċi kata nefh̀vyouiHe that has pity on the poor lends to the Lord; and he will recompense to him according to his gift.
19:18ϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲙⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲙⲡⲣϫⲓⲥⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ϩⲙⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲥⲱϣϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲕ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲥⲱϣtisvō ǹpekṡyri efnaaiai ġar ǹpairyti m̀perċisi ḋe m̀mok xen pek·hyt evsōṡChasten thy son, for so he shall be hopeful; and be not exalted in thy soul to haughtiness.
19:19ⲡⲣⲉϥⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ϥⲛⲁϯⲟⲥⲉ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛϫⲱϩⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲟⲩⲉϩⲙⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏⲡ̀ⲣⲉϥⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲟⲩ ϥ̀ⲛⲁϯⲟⲥⲉ ⲉ̀ⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϭⲱϧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲟⲩⲉϩⲙⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏp̀refmeeve èpet·hoou f̀natiose èmaṡō afṡanċōxem ḋe efnaouehmtefpsikyA malicious man shall be severely punished, and if he commit injury, he shall also lose his life.
