31:7ⲁⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲗⲁⲛⲁ ⲛϩⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲕⲱ ⲛϩⲧⲏⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗⲁⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡ̀ⲗⲁⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ϩⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲧⲭⲱ ⲛ̀ϩⲧⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϩⲉⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗarasou ġar p̀lana ǹhah ouoh netkō ǹhtyou èrōou avhei èvolIt is a stumblingblock unto them that sacrifice unto it, and every fool shall be taken therewith.

31:9ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲕⲱⲧⲉ ϣⲁϥⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲉϩⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲛⲧϩⲁϩ ϣⲁϥϫⲱ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲙⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥⲕⲱϯ ϣⲁϥⲉⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ϩⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲛⲧϩⲁϩ ϣⲁϥϫⲱ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲙ̀ⲛⲧⲣⲙⲛϩⲏⲧou rōmi efkōti ṡafemi èhah ouoh petafgnt·hah ṡafgō ǹt̀m̀ntrmnhytWho is he? and we will call him blessed: for wonderful things hath he done among his people.
31:10ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩϫⲟⲛⲧϥ ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϩⲛⲕⲟⲩⲓⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲡⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲟⲩϫⲟⲛⲧϥ ⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓèrepète m̀peougontf sōoun ǹhankoujiWho hath been tried thereby, and found perfect? then let him glory. Who might offend, and hath not offended? or done evil, and hath not done it?
31:11ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉϣⲁϥⲧⲁϣⲉⲙⲛⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉϣⲁϥⲧⲁϣⲉⲙⲛⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉpetafmouṡt ḋe ǹθof peṡaftaṡemntsaveHis goods shall be established, and the congregation shall declare his alms.
31:12ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲁϩ ϩⲙⲡⲧⲣⲁⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲙⲛⲧⲣⲙⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲛⲛⲁϣⲁϫⲉⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ϩⲁϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲧⲣⲁⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁⲙ̀ⲛⲧⲣⲙⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲡ̀ϩⲟⲩⲟ̀ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓainav èhah xen p̀tramouṡt ouoh tam̀ntrmnhyt pe p̀houò ǹnasajiIf thou sit at a bountiful table, be not greedy upon it, and say not, There is much meat on it.
31:13ϩⲁϩ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲓⲕⲓⲛⲇⲩⲛⲉⲩⲉ ϣⲁⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲛⲁⲓϩⲁϩ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲓⲕⲓⲛⲇⲩⲛⲉⲩⲉ ϣⲁ ⲫ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲓhah ǹsop aikinḋineve ṡa f̀mou ouoh aiougai eθve naiRemember that a wicked eye is an evil thing: and what is created more wicked than an eye? therefore it weepeth upon every occasion.
