It is good to praise God, and exalt his name, and honourably to shew forth the works of God; therefore be not slack to praise him.
12:7ⲡⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲟⲡϥ ⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲣⲓⲡⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲧⲁϩⲱⲧⲛⲡ̀ⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲁⲛⲉ ϩⲟⲡϥ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲱ̀ⲟⲩ ⲁⲣⲓⲡ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲧⲁϩⲱⲧⲛp̀mistyrion ǹp̀ouro nane hopf ǹh̀vyouì ǹf̀nouti nane ouonhou èvol xen ouṑou arip̀petnanouf ouoh m̀mon pet·hōou natahōtnIt is good to keep close the secret of a king, but it is honourable to reveal the works of God. Do that which is good, and no evil shall touch you.

A little with righteousness is better than much with unrighteousness. It is better to give alms than to lay up gold:
12:9ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲛⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲁⲥⲛⲉϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲥⲧⲃⲃⲉ ⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲛⲁ ⲙⲛⲧⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲙⲡⲱⲛϩⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲑⲛⲁⲏⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲁⲥⲛⲉϩⲙ ⲡ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲥⲧⲃⲃⲉ ⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲙⲉⲑⲛⲁⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧt̀meθnayt ġar ṡasnehm p̀rōmi èvol xen f̀mou ouoh ǹθos ṡastvve novi niven ǹteteeire ǹt̀meθnayt nem t̀ḋikaiosiny senasi ǹp̀ōnxFor alms doth deliver from death, and shall purge away all sin. Those that exercise alms and righteousness shall be filled with life:

12:11ⲛϯⲛⲁϩⲉⲡ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉⲡⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲟⲡϥ ⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉϭⲟⲗⲡⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲙⲡϣⲁⲛ̀ϯⲛⲁϩⲉⲡ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲁⲛⲉ ϩⲟⲡϥ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ϭⲟⲗⲡⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁǹtinahep laav an ǹsaji erōten aigos ḋe je p̀mistyrion ǹp̀ouro nane hopf ǹh̀vyouì ḋe ǹf̀nouti èċolpou èvol xen oum̀p̀ṡaSurely I will keep close nothing from you. For I said, It was good to keep close the secret of a king, but that it was honourable to reveal the works of God.
