Alla je etetneemi ètàġapy ètevntaeis ǹhouo èxoun erōten.For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made sorry, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.
2:5ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲁⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲗⲩⲡⲉⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲗⲩⲡⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ . ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲡⲟ ⲙⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥ . ϫⲉⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲡⲓⲃⲁⲣⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲧⲛ .Ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲗⲩⲡⲉⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲗⲩⲡⲉⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ. Ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲡⲟ ⲙⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥ. 2:6ⲧⲉⲓⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲓⲁ ϭⲉ ⲣⲱϣⲉ ⲉⲡⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙⲡⲉϩⲟⲩⲟ .Ⲧⲁⲓⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲣⲱϣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ϩⲟⲩⲟ̀.Taiepitimia oun rōṡi èfai t̀vol hiten p̀houò.Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the many;
2:7ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲕⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ . ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ . ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙⲡϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲗⲩⲡⲉⲓ ⲛⲥⲉⲱⲙⲕ ⲙⲡⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲉⲓⲙⲓⲛⲉ .Ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲭⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ. Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ. 2:8ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲙⲁⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲁⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ.Eθve fai tiparakalei m̀mōten matagro ǹouàġapy èxoun èrof.Therefore I beg you to confirm your love toward him.
2:9ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉⲉⲓⲉⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲏ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛϩⲉⲛⲥⲧⲙⲏⲧ ϩⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ .Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲥ̀ϧⲁⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲉⲉⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲉⲓⲛⲥⲧⲙⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.Eθve fai ġar ntais̀xai nōten je eieemi ètetenḋokimy je ǹtetenheinstmyt xen hōb niven.For to this end I also wrote, that I might know the proof of you, whether you are obedient in all things.
2:10ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϯⲕⲱ ϩⲱ . ⲕⲁⲓⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲕⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓ ⲕⲁⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ϩⲙⲡϩⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .Ⲡ̀ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲭⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϯⲭⲱ ϩⲱ.
