How he pleads with God against Israel:

11:4ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲓϣⲱϫⲡ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲥⲁϣϥ ⲛϣⲟ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲕⲗϫⲡⲁⲧ ⲛⲧⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ .Ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲡ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ϣⲁϣϥ ⲛ̀ϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲟⲩⲕⲗϫⲡⲁⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ.Alla eṡare p̀·saji gos naf je ou je aisōgp nyi ǹṡaṡf ǹṡo ǹrōmi nai ète m̀peouklgpat ǹt̀vahal.But how does God answer him? 11:6ⲉⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲉϣϫⲉ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϭⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϩⲛⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲁⲛ .Ⲓ̀ ⲧⲉ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲧ̀ⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁⲉⲣⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲁⲛ.Ì te isje xen ouxaris ie ouèvol oun an pe xen ǹh̀vyouì m̀mon t̀xaris oun naerxaris an.And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. 11:9ϣⲁⲣⲉⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲟⲛ ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲙⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲩⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩϭⲟⲣϭⲥ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲡⲁϣ . ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲧⲱⲱⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲩϢⲁⲣⲉⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲟⲛ ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲧⲟⲩⲧ̀ⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩϭⲟⲣϭⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲡⲁϣ.
