21:7ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁⲃⲱⲕⲓ ⲛⲛⲉⲥϣⲉⲛⲁⲥ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲃⲱⲕⲓⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁⲃⲱⲕⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲥϣⲉⲛⲁⲥ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲱⲕⲓeṡōp ḋe ǹte ouai ti ǹpefṡeri èvol xavōki ǹnesṡenas ǹf̀ryti etouċoji ǹje nivōkiAnd if any one sell his daughter as a domestic, she shall not depart as the maid-servants depart.
21:8ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥϣⲧⲉⲙⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲥϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁϣⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲟⲧⲥ ⲕⲉⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ϥⲟⲓ ⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉⲁϥϣⲱϣϥ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲥⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥϣⲧⲉⲙⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉⲥϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁϣⲥ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲥⲟⲧⲥ ⲕⲉⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ϥ̀ⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϣⲱϣϥ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲥeṡōp ḋe asṡtemranaf ǹpesċois ouoh θai ǹtefṡtemouaṡs efèsots keeθnos ḋe ǹṡemmo f̀oi ǹċois an ètyis naf èvol je afṡōṡf ǹxytsIf she be not pleasing to her master, after she has betrothed herself to him, he shall let her go free; but he is not at liberty to sell her to a foreign nation, because he has trifled with her.
21:9ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲓⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓϣⲉⲣⲓⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉ̀ⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓϣⲉⲣⲓeṡōp ḋe afṡanouonhs èvol ètyis ǹpefṡyri efèìri nas kata nimeθmyi ǹte niṡeriAnd if he should have betrothed her to his son, he shall do to her according to the right of daughters.
21:10ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲕⲉⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲥϭⲓϩⲃⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥϥⲟϫⲥ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲥϭⲓϩⲃⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϥⲟϫⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩeṡōp ḋe afṡanċi naf ǹkeoui ny etsempṡa nem pesċihvos nem pessaji ǹneffogs m̀mōouAnd if he take another to himself, he shall not deprive her of necessaries and her apparel, and her companionship with him.
21:11ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲅ̅ ⲉⲥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⲛⲁⲧϩⲁⲧⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲧⲉⲙⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓ3 ⲉ̀ⲥⲉⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⲛⲁⲧ̀ϩⲁⲧeṡōp ḋe afṡtemìri nas m̀pai3 èsei èvol ǹjinjy nat̀·hatAnd if he will not do these three things to her, she shall go out free without money.
21:12ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϣ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲁϣ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩeṡōp ḋe areṡan ouai ti ǹouṡaṡ ǹouai ouoh ǹtefmou xen oumou marefmouAnd if any man smite another and he die, let him be certainly put to death.
21:13ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲉⲓⲉϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲫⲱⲧ ⲉⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϧⲱⲧⲉⲃⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉ̀ⲑⲣⲉϥⲫⲱⲧ ⲉⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϧⲱⲧⲉⲃfy ḋe etehnaf an pe alla f̀nouti aftyif èx̀ryi ènefjig eièti nak ǹouma èθreffōt emav ǹje fy etafxōtebBut as for him that did it not willingly, but God delivered him into his hands, I will give thee a place whither the slayer may flee.
21:14ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲛⲧⲉϥϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲭⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲫⲱⲧ ⲉⲕⲉϭⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲡⲁⲙⲁⲛⲉⲣϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲭ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲫⲱⲧ ⲉⲕⲉ̀ϭⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⲡⲁⲙⲁⲛⲉⲣϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥeṡōp ḋe ǹte ouai ouahf èjen pefṡ̀fyr ǹtefxoθvef xen ouk̀rof ǹteffōt ekèċitf èvol ha pamanerṡōouṡi èxoθvefAnd if any one lie in wait for his neighbour to slay him by craft, and he go for refuge, thou shalt take him from my altar to put him to death.
21:15ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϯ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϣ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ⲓⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲁϣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ⲓⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩfy eθnati ǹouṡaṡ ǹte pefiōt ie tefmav xen oumou marefmouWhoever smites his father or his mother, let him be certainly put to death.
