22:3ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲣⲏ ϥⲣⲁⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉϥⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛϯϭⲟⲩⲱⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϣⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲫ̀ⲣⲏ ϥ̀ⲣⲁⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧ̀ϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛ̀ϯϭⲟⲩⲱeṡōp ḋe afṡanṡai ègōf ǹje f̀ry f̀raouyout efèmou ǹtefṡeviō eṡōp ḋe mmontaf m̀mav efètyif èvol ǹt̀ṡeviō ǹtiċouōBut if the sun be risen upon him, he is guilty, he shall die instead; and if a thief have nothing, let him be sold in compensation for what he has stolen.

22:6ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲟⲩⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧϩⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲛⲟⲩϭⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛϧⲉⲙⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲕⲟⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲉⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲭⲣⲱⲙⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲟⲩⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲧϩⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϭⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛϧⲉⲙⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲕⲟⲓ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲉⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙeṡōp ḋe afṡani èvol ǹje ouk̀rōm ǹtefjem hansouri ouoh ǹteft·hemmo ǹouċnōou ie hanxems ie oukoi efètyitou ǹje fy etafċero ǹpik̀rōmAnd if fire have gone forth and caught thorns, and should also set on fire threshing-floors or ears of corn or a field, he that kindled the fire shall make compensation.
22:7ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲧ ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲛⲧⲉϥⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲕⲟⲗⲡⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϭⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲕⲏⲃⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲁⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲥ̀ⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲁ̀ⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲕⲟⲗⲡⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϭⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϭⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲕⲏⲃeṡōp ḋe areṡan ouai ti ǹouhat ǹte pefṡ̀fyr ie hans̀kevos je ǹtefàreh èrōou ouoh ǹtoukolpou ǹċioui èvol xen p̀yi ǹpirōmi eṡōp avṡantahe pirefċioui efètyitou evkybAnd if any one give to his neighbour money or goods to keep, and they be stolen out of the man's house, if the thief be found he shall repay double.
