21:7ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲁ ϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϭⲓⲛϩⲙϩⲁⲗⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲃⲱⲕ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲃⲱⲕeṡōp ḋe erṡanouai ti èvol ǹtefṡeere ǹvōk ǹnesvōk èvol ǹf̀ryti eṡavvōk èvol ǹje ǹvōkAnd if any one sell his daughter as a domestic, she shall not depart as the maid-servants depart.
21:8ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲥϣⲁⲛⲧⲙⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲥϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϩⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲉⲓ ⲉϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲱⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛϥⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϭⲉϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛϣⲙⲙⲟ ϫⲉⲁϥⲁⲑⲉⲧⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉⲥϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲉⲓ ⲉ̀ϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲥⲱϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϥⲟⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϭⲉϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲁⲑⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥeṡōp ḋe asṡanṡtemranaf ǹpesċois fai etafhomologei èti m̀mos naf efèsōti m̀mos ǹfoi ḋe an ǹċois èti m̀mos èvol ǹċeheθnos ǹṡemmo je aferaθetin m̀mosIf she be not pleasing to her master, after she has betrothed herself to him, he shall let her go free; but he is not at liberty to sell her to a foreign nation, because he has trifled with her.
21:9ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛϩⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲉⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲁⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲛϣⲉⲉⲣⲉⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϩⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲉⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲥ ⲛ̀ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲓ̀ⲣⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲱⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ⲛ̀ϣⲉⲉⲣⲉeṡōp ḋe afṡanhomologei ètas ǹpefṡyri efèìri nas kata p̀ḋikaiōma ǹǹṡeereAnd if he should have betrothed her to his son, he shall do to her according to the right of daughters.
21:10ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛϫⲓⲕⲉⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲙⲛⲑⲃⲥⲱ ⲙⲛⲑⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲟⲩⲣⲱⲱⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϭⲓⲕⲉⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧ̀ϩⲉⲃⲥⲱ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧ̀ϩⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϩⲟⲩⲣⲱⲱⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩeṡōp ḋe afṡanċikeouei naf ie neteṡṡe nem t̀·hevsō nem t̀·homologia ǹnefhourōōs m̀mōouAnd if he take another to himself, he shall not deprive her of necessaries and her apparel, and her companionship with him.
21:11ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲧⲙⲣⲡⲉⲓϣⲟⲙⲧ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲉⲥⲉⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⲛⲟⲩⲉϣⲛϩⲟⲙⲧⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲡⲁⲓϣⲟⲙⲧ ⲛ̀ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲉⲥⲉⲃⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉϣⲛϩⲟⲙⲧeṡōp ḋe afṡanṡtemerpaiṡomt ǹhōb nas esevōk èvol ǹjinjy ǹoueṡnhomtAnd if he will not do these three things to her, she shall go out free without money.
21:12ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲁ ⲣⲉϩⲧⲟⲩⲁ ⲛϥⲙⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧϥ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲣⲉϩⲧⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲙⲁeṡōp ḋe erṡanouai rehtouai ǹtefmou xen oumou maroumooutf èpefmaAnd if any man smite another and he die, let him be certainly put to death.
21:13ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲁⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲟⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲁϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲉⲓⲉϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲡⲱⲧ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϩⲱⲧⲃⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϫⲟⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲫⲱⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϧⲱⲧⲉⲃpetafais ḋe ǹtefgom an te alla èf̀nouti petaftyif ehrai ènefjig eièti nak ǹouma efnafōt èrof ǹje petnaxōtebBut as for him that did it not willingly, but God delivered him into his hands, I will give thee a place whither the slayer may flee.
