21ϫⲉⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉⲡⲓⲉⲣⲟ ⲛ̇ⲅ̇ⲡⲉⲣⲁ ·“Go down to the river and pass through.”
22ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕSo he went
23ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓⲛⲉⲙⲥⲁϩand the crocodiles came
24ⲁ̇ⲩⲗⲱϫϩ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲱⲙⲁ ·and they crushed his body.
25ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̇ⲡⲟⲩϥⲗⲁⲡⲧⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ·And they did not hurt him at all.
26ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ̇ⲡⲁⲥⲕⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥWhen the ascetic saw, he said,
